This type of an incident would require residents to receive vaccinations. The plan is to have all townspeople report to the designated parking areas, starting with the old Standard Knapp parking lot on Pickering St. Overflow for parking will occur within the Industrial Park areas itself, and in larger scale events possibly Tri Town Plaza or even the Fair Grounds. Directional signs will be posted with instructions as necessary. From there they will be bused to the Portland pre-screening site to complete a medical questionnaire for each member of their family. Once completed they will have their forms initially evaluated by medical personnel to screen for any medical or medication contraindications to the prescribed vaccination. If cleared, they will receive a card signifying their clearance where they can then board another bus and be transported to the vaccination site in East Hampton. This is the focal site for vaccinations as this is where the CDC will have all shipments of medications and supplies delivered - not to each town.

At no time are residents to drive directly to the East Hampton location as security / Police will not allow private vehicle's to enter the area and will be directed to return to Portland's bus transport site. There they will need to show their card to personnel in East Hampton and have their forms available for another review if necessary- finally receiving the vaccinations and instructions for their family, and then boarding a bus to return to the Portland Standard Knapp parking lot.
