     Nothing in recent times has galvanized the Town of Portland as much as the development of Main Street, along with the adjacent quarries and riverfront property. It's like a ghost of old time Portland promising to come alive again!
     Portland offers such recreational attractions as quality golf courses, several marinas, and a Blue-Blaze hiking trail through a State Forest.
