Haunted Light Trail

We are inviting all of Portland's most prolific Halloween decorators to join the Haunted Light Trail. Both residents and businesses that decorate can have their names added to a map of decorated locations. Once the map is out, people can do drive-byes to check out all the spooky scenery and vote on their favorite houses and businesses to win prizes and bragging rights!

This Saturday!

Howl-o-ween & Portland's Little Pumpkins

Join us on October 23 at at the Town Green by the gazebo for a Halloween costume celebration!

From 11am-12pm we're welcoming our furry friends for a costume parade at 11:30 around the block. There will be prizes for scariest, cutest, funniest, most original, and judge's favorite large and small dog! Portland dogs only, and pre-registration is required. Please RSVP below or contact us for more information.

From 12:30pm-3pm we'll have crafts and stories for our young ones. All ages welcome, but most activities will be focused toward elementary school-aged children. At 2:00, we'll be doing the costume parade around the block. Judges will pick the scariest, cutest, funniest, most original, and judge's favorite costumes!

We are also inviting any town businesses or organizations to join the fun and set up a tent or table. Hang out, advertise, hand out treats or merchandise; whatever you want! We just want you to join us!

Lastly, this event is free! However, for families that are able to, we are asking for a donation of a non-perishable food item or pet food/treats. We will be donating them to a local food bank.

We recommend parking at the Brownstone Intermediate School (314 Main St) or Town Hall (33 East Main St). From each location it is only a short walk to the Town Green.
